After careful planning and persistence, the song cycle version of Rachel Rising was brought alive again this past weekend, October 19th, at Northern Illinois University’s Boutell Memorial Concert Hall, under the baton of its composer, Rob Deemer. We were joined by some excellent musicians; alumni, faculty and students all joined forces to share this performance. It was an honor to be part of this effort.
